Friends of Inspire

We are a group of people mostly relatives, who have volunteered our time to raise funds over the past 25 years to provide extra facilities and equipment for disabled people using Inspire Community Trust (formally The Whitehall Centre).

During this time we have paid for a large screen TV, computer equipment, a polytunnel for the garden, a centre minibus and financed Christmas activities. All this has been funded through Bazaars, Quiz Nights, Discos, Raffles, Coffee Mornings in fact by any means that we can think of.

We have been very successful and have enjoyed the challenge but it has been hard work and we are all getting older and less fit!

We are looking for new, enthusiastic people with modern ideas and lots of energy to help us continue to raise money and make the quality of life even better for disabled people at Inspire.

All we ask for is commitment, reliability, a sense of humour and people with money making ideas and the energy to see them through.

If you are interested in becoming a “Friend” just give Ann Markey a call on 020 8304 2659 and find out more about us or register your interest at the Inspire Community Trust’s main Reception with your name, address and telephone number.
