What we do not have in stock we are happy to order in as a special item.
We actively encourage you to come in and try our equipment before you buy it. Just give us a call make an appointment. Living Solutions provide an Equipment Demonstration Area where our customers can try out popular items with support from a Qualified Occupational Therapist or suitable trained person who will identify the most suitable equipment for you.
You can then choose to buy the equipment from us at the best price we can find for you but there is no obligation to buy anything. If you are not sure about making a purchase you can come back to us at any time to place an order or to get more advice.
If visiting isn’t a suitable option for you, we can arrange, at a reasonable cost, for our Occupational Therapist to visit you at home. Our Occupational Therapist will be able to carry out a full and comprehensive assessment of your home environment, assessing you for suitable equipment which may assist you with your daily living.
The Home Assessment will identify how you are currently managing at home and the difficulties you are experiencing. At the end of the assessment, advice and recommendation of equipment that is suitable for your needs will be discussed. Home Assessment’s starts at £36.
We pride ourselves on our customer service and impartial advice that we are able to offer to people. We are continuously exploring ways of developing our service to further enable us to widen the range of equipment for older people and people with physical disabilities. We provide brochures, leaflets, information sheets and specialist websites for additional equipment and other services. We liaise closely with other charities and organisations that also support older people and people with physical disabilities such as AGE UK, Bexley Wheelchair Service, Sensory Impairment Team, Bexley Deaf Centre, and the Blue Badge and Freedom Pass Team.
