What is the returns policy?

Unwanted Goods: We want you to be happy with your purchase from Living Solutions.  If you’re not, please contact us to discuss this and return the product to us within 30 days of purchase, and we’ll exchange or refund it. It is important that any unwanted item, unless faulty, is returned in a re-saleable condition.  We expect this to mean that you have kept all the original packaging and labels (if appropriate), and that it is undamaged and unused.

If the item was delivered to you, regrettably we are unable to refund the delivery charge.

Faulty Goods: We check all products before selling them, however in the unfortunate event that the product you purchased is faulty, please contact us to discuss. You will need to return it to us if possible and we will arrange for a replacement from the manufacturer – it may be possible to replace the item immediately if it is an item that we hold in stock.  If the item was delivered to you we will arrange collection.

Items ordered as a special are non-refundable, as a result,  please order wisely

What is a VAT exempt form?

A VAT form is a declaration made which states the nature of your disability at the time of ordering.

What is a home assessment & what does it involve?

A home assessment is an assessment of your home environment. It is carried out by an Occupational Therapist who comes out to see you and assesses you for suitable equipment which may assist with your daily living e.g. Bath Boards, Grab Rails and Toileting Equipment. The assessment identifies how you are currently managing at home, the difficulties you may be experiencing and how you are managing with certain tasks. These are all to determine what sort of equipment you may require. The Occupational Therapist would make a full and comprehensive assessment of the various areas of your home and provide and suggest relevant and suitable equipment for you.

What is a disclaimer form?

A disclaimer form is provided to our customers to fulfil a duty owed to prevent unreasonable risk of harm or injury. Customers are required to sign and complete the disclaimer form if their desired item was not recommended or approved by an Occupational Therapist.

What are the methods of payment?

Payment made to Living Solutions can be made by credit/debit card (over the phone or in person), cheque and cash

Is it possible to order something that is not in store but in the catalogue?

Yes, depending on the item you wish to purchase, we are able to order that particular item is as a special. However, most items ordered in as a special are not items regularly stocked or sold in Living Solutions, in this case, some specially ordered items are non-refundable.

How much does it cost for a Home Assessment?

Came for an assessment but was also helped with a walking stick and information on attendance allowance for us. For us, personally, you could not improve your service to us. You all attended my mother in a kind, friendly and professional way.
